In 1979, science fiction writer L. Neil Smith created the Prometheus Awards, to honor Libertarian fiction. The Libertarian Futurist Society [www] began sponsoring the annual Prometheus Award in 1982. Chicon 2000 hosts this year's awards presentation, on Friday at 4:00 PM.
