| Joe has been married to his wife Gay, also a fan, since 1965. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at the Hague where Joe was Worldcon Guest of Honor. He was drafted into combat in Vietnam in 1968 and "got a couple of books from it". He's been an amatuer astronomer for 40 years, a guitar player for 35, and an MIT professor since 1983. |
